Do I need to install my own software on Qwerk if I want it to do something specific? |

You won't need to. TeRK is based on the Internet Communications Engine (ICE) an object-oriented remote procedure call (RPC) mechanism. ICE allows Qwerk to function as a server, serving I/O requests over the wired or wireless network, including the Internet. You'll be able to develop a Java or C++ client on your desktop, where you feel most comfortable. Your client will connect to a Qwerk and make it do virtually anything you want. There will be ready-to-use clients for you to download, so you won't need to write your own client unless you want to.
